Compliance
Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) conducts employer visits and worksite inspections to monitor compliance with the Apprenticeship and Industry Training Act and regulations.
Compliance issues include matters related to individuals working in trades without the required authority, contraventions of compliance orders and court orders, provision of false information, theft of examinations and fraudulent certificates.

Legislation and Board Orders
The Alberta Government provides the legislative framework and administrative support for the apprenticeship and industry training system. The legislative framework, regulations and orders, must be read in conjunction with each other and with the Act.
