COVID-19 General Information for an AIT Exam

Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) is committed to keeping our clients and staff healthy, safe and informed during the COVID-19 pandemic as it relates to exams and building access.

General AIT Office COVID-19 Health Measures

All AIT offices require clients to: 

  • wear face masks, and
  • maintain physical distancing of two metres from others.

You will have access to hand sanitizer, public washrooms and hand washing facilities.

Masks are not provided; please bring and wear your own mask.

If you are attending an exam at the NAIT campus in Edmonton, please visit the NAIT website for information about additional requirements for visiting campus. 

AIT Exam COVID-19 Health Measures

  • If you show any COVID-19 symptoms (cough, runny nose, fever (greater than 38°C), shortness of breath / difficulty breathing, sore throat), please re-schedule your exam. If you appear to have any of these symptoms, you will be asked to leave and re-schedule your exam.
  • When you enter the AIT office, please visit the AIT check-in desk with your government-issued ID ready. Be patient throughout the check-in process and continue to wear your mask and practice 2-metre physical distancing.
  • Once you are in the exam area, you will be directed to line up in a designated area. Continue to wear your mask and maintain appropriate 2-metre social distancing.
  • Keep your mask on while you write your exam.
  • Once you have completed your exam, exit the building immediately.
