COVID -19 General Information for an AIT Exam

  • Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) is committed to keeping our clients and staff healthy, safe and informed during the COVID-19 pandemic as it relates to exams and building access. Please be patient throughout the check in process and continue to practice physical distancing by keeping two metres away from others.
  • If you show any COVID-19 symptoms (cough, runny nose, fever (greater than 38°C), shortness of breath / difficulty breathing, sore throat), please re-schedule your exam. If you appear to have any of these symptoms, you will be asked to leave and re-schedule your exam.
  • When you enter the AIT office, please visit the AIT check-in desk. Please have your government issued ID ready
  • Once you are in the exam area, you will be directed to line up in a designated area. Please continue to maintain appropriate social distancing (2 metres apart).
  • Please bring your own pencil and eraser with you. AIT will provide calculators and code books if required.
  • You are encouraged to bring and wear your own mask.
  • Please leave all personal belongings, such as jackets, bags, cellphones, codebooks, etc., at home or in your vehicle. Personal items brought to the exam sitting will be contained by AIT while you write your exam.
  • Client will have access to hand sanitizer, public washrooms and hand washing facilities.
  • Once you have completed your exam, please exit the building immediately.
