Special Award
The Special Award recognizes individuals who demonstrate outstanding commitment and dedication to the success of apprentices, and the success of the Apprenticeship and Industry Training System.
Nomination Information:
The Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board Chair determines Special Award recipients.
Award Criteria:
A recipient of a Special Award:
- has shown outstanding commitment and dedication to the success of apprentices in Alberta, and
- is a strong promoter of Alberta’s trades and occupations.
Award Presentation:
The Special Award is presented at the annual Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board Awards.
