Review your eligible classes and class availability in MyTradesecrets

Follow the instructions on the Class Registrations screen to register - or to obtain information on manual registration.

Employers and apprentices must coordinate their training requests prior to applying to training providers.

Apprentice & Employer Information - What You Need to Know

  • Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. As training space is limited and may be cancelled due to a lack of response, apprentices should register on the opening day of registration, or shortly thereafter.
  • Apprentices are eligible to enroll for classes in the next period of technical training only after they have successfully complete their previous period.
  • As an apprentice, you are required to attend technical training annually. If you have not attended technical training in the past year, your Contract of Apprenticeship may be cancelled. To avoid contract cancellation, register for technical training as soon as possible. If you are no longer pursuing your apprenticeship in the trades, advise your local Apprenticeship and Industry Training office so your apprenticeship contract can be cancelled.
  • Please update your mailing address, phone number, text number or email address on MyTradesecrets if your information has changed.
  • This ensures you receive all relevant information.

EXCEPTION – Apprentices presently attending classes can apply for their next period class after the fourth day of the current class. However, acceptance is conditional upon passing their present period. Any deposits paid would be subject to training provider refund policies. Apprentices must consult with their employer before enrolling in the next level of technical training.
