Corporate Information

Lehigh Inland has more than 50 years experience supplying a variety of products for all types of construction and development projects across the Prairie Provinces. Our organization includes Lehigh Inland Cement, Inland Aggregates, Inland Concrete and Inland Pipe. Our 1200 employees work together to provide comprehensive services to our customers.

Lehigh Inland is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lehigh Cement Company, a leading construction material supplier throughout North America. Internationally, we are part of the Heidelberg Cement Group, the 4th largest construction materials company in the world. As a member of this group we are affiliated with some of the world's most technically advanced cement operations and related construction materials companies.

Career Information

Lehigh Inland's stability, growth and commitment to remaining an industry leader provides a variety of career opportunities in the professional, technical, trade and operational function of our company. We recruit people from accredited universities and technical school for careers in the following areas: accounting; engineering (civil, mechanical, chemical, electrical, mining); information technology; office administration; operations (planter operator, heaving equipment operator, labourer, truck driver, dispatcher, batchperson); sales and marketing; trades (mechanic, millwright, electrician, welder, pipefitter, boilermaker, instrument mechanic, cement mason).

Scholarship Information

Lehigh Inland funds this scholarship in memory of two employees who passed away while in the employ of the company, George Street (a millwright/welder who died in 1989) and George Ritz (an electrician who died in 2002). Trades people are an important and integral part of our organization whether they be in our Cement, Concrete, Aggregates or Pipe operations. We see the value in supporting and encouraging people to enter the trades and technical world of work as without them we would have little success in maintaining and upgrading our 56 plant and physical locations. Skilled trades people are key to the future of our organization. This scholarship is an investment in the future.
