History:
The Edward R. Rewucki Automotive Scholarship is named after Tower Chrysler President Edward Rewucki. For over thirty eight years as president of the company, Mr. Rewucki has worked hard to exceed the needs of customers, and has never lost his passion for developing new standards in the Calgary automobile retail market.

Mr. Rewucki has served on the Canadian Automobile Dealers Association Board of Directors and has served as President of the Calgary Motor Dealers Association and Chairman of the Motor Dealers Association of Alberta. He has the distinction of being the only Chrysler Dealer in Calgary to receive the Maclean's Dealer of Excellence award. Mr. Rewucki is a strong supporter of education and helping those interested in becoming better individuals.

The Al Syntak Scholarship honours the late Al Syntak who passed away in December 2010. Al's career in the automotive industry spanned over 35 years culminating at Tower Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram as the Parts Manager. Well-respected by his staff, peers and business associates, Al was both a teacher and a mentor to many who knew him. His professionalism and knowledge earned him an enviable reputation within the industry and it is this reputation that has inspired a scholarship in his name.

The Edward R. Rewucki and Al Syntak scholarships have been established by Tower Chrysler to provide monetary assistance to deserving students who wish to further their education in the automotive field. The scholarship is designed to:
- promote professionalism within the retail automotive industry
- create awareness of the retail automotive industry and attract new people to the industry, and
- advance the state of knowledge within the industry

Tower Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is a retail automobile dealership with new, used and lease and rental departments along with service, collision repair and parts departments. Founded by Edward Rewucki in 1971, Tower Chrysler now employs over ninety people and continues to be a leading automotive merchant in Canada.
