You may view or edit your Basic Account by signing in to MyAlberta Digital ID. Note: This link does not provide direct access to MyTradesecrets. It only provides access to your MyAlberta Digital ID account.

What system requirements do I need to use MyAlberta Digital ID?

We recommend ensuring your cookies and Javascript are enabled. The MyAlberta Digital ID website supports the use of current releases of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, and Internet Explorer 11 or newer. For best results, we encourage you to use something current.

If I need further assistance?

Your AIT ID (sometimes referred to as an "AIT Number" or "Apprenticeship ID") can be found in the following places:

  • next to your name at the top of the screen once you've logged into your MyTradesecrets account;
  • on your apprenticeship card;
  • in your blue book;
  • on any correspondence you've received from Apprenticeship;
  • if you have submitted an application online, in the confirmation email you received;
  • if applicable, on your Journeyman card.

Your AIT ID will usually be a 6 or 7 digit number and may be found in the following format: 123/123456.   The AIT ID is the number following the 'slash' i.e. 123456.
