History:
The Edmonton Construction Association (ECA) was incorporated in 1931 and is today one of the largest Non-Profit Associations serving the Commercial, Institutional and Industrial Construction Industry in Canada.
ECA provides up-to-date information on construction procurement opportunities and industry activities for a membership of 1,036 General Contractors, Trade Contractors, Manufacturers and Suppliers of Goods and Services to the Construction Industry.

Each year, hundreds of sets of tender documents are received by the ECA Plan Room for viewing by members. Tender documents are sent to ECA in both electronic form and hard copy by the Federal, Provincial and Municipal Government, as well as the Private Sector and represent small to large commercial, institutional and some industrial projects out for bid in Greater Edmonton, the Province of Alberta, Western Canada, the Territories and the Yukon. ECA Plan Room attracts in excess of 5,000 estimator visits annually.

ECA members are represented nationally by the Canadian Construction Association.
