History:
Chemco Electrical Contractors Ltd. is an all-Alberta owned electrical contractor based in Edmonton, with a branch office in Calgary & Saskatoon. Chemco has been operating in Western Canada since 1963, with a workforce of up to 2,700 employees.

Chemco Electrical Contractors Ltd. has proven themselves capable of undertaking large projects in the 200 million plus range, yet they remain versatile enough to provide the services required for small individual contracts. We provide high quality work in the power, oil and gas, mining, petroleum refining, chemical, and pulp and paper industries.

In addition to conventional pre-engineered and EPC-type contracts, Chemco participates in various project alliances and partnering concepts. Our service encompasses all facets of installation, acceptance, testing and commissioning requirements for electrical, instrumentation, heat tracing, substation, modularization, power distribution, fiber optics & high voltage applications.
Chemco has an Electrical Engineering section as well as a Civil division which specializes in various aspects of industrial earth moving.
