History:
Clearwater Welding & Fabricating LP (CWF), established in 1984, is an Alberta Aboriginal owned company, based in Ft. McMurray, Alberta. The organization has risen to an excellent position of strength and presence as a major regional piping, welding and fabricating company. This is directly attributed to the experience and business acumen of the principal owner, Mr.
Doug Golosky.

CWF has a reputation of providing services that completely satisfy the most stringent of industry demands, while experiencing growth in the very competitive market area of Ft. McMurray. Whether the clients service needs are conventional or unique, CWF has the expertise, equipment and resources that can be tailored to their satisfaction.

The CWF regional business development plan is to understand the clients¡¦ goals and to achieve a mutually beneficial and successful client/supplier relationship. CWF will strive to maintain efficient operations and a superior workforce; a positive combination; thereby enabling them to deliver quality service at very competitive rates. The use of a ¡§goal oriented¡¨ philosophy and management approach, that is based on a stringent safety and quality control program, allows CWF to fully undertake jobs of any magnitude.

The CWF facility consists of a 20,000 ft2 of fabrication shop, utilizing various welding processes, which houses most of the equipment required for custom fabrication, including:

- Press break
- Plate shear
- Plate roll
- Angle roll
- Plasma cutting machine

CWF is signatory to many trades. This allows them access to a wide variety of trades, which can be of great benefit in the Ft. McMurray region. Further to this, they strive to be a leader in the industry by continuing to explore new technology and practices that will benefit the business and their customers. CWF has been partnering with many organizations such as:

- The Keyano College Co-op Apprenticeship Program
- Alberta Aboriginal Apprenticeship Program

Clearwater Welding & Fabricating Ltd. believes that their association with these organizations will assist them in implementing some of their ideas, concepts and culture. It is their goal to demonstrate expertise by continuously developing new and innovative technology.
