History:
Eskimo Steel Ltd is an Alberta based structural steel fabricator and erector that was founded in 1972, specializing in the industrial markets of Alberta and the NWT.

Eskimo is fortunate to have a loyal and highly skilled workforce that is customer driven, through a continuing focus on safety, quality, and performance.

To remain competitive both now and in the future Eskimo has invested in its facility, equipment, and technology to better serve its customers by processing work quickly, accurately and competitively. Recent equipment additions include a CNC multi axis beam drill line and a CNC plate processor capable of handling plate sizes up to 3' thick. Eskimo uses 3D modeling software for detailing, which fully interfaces with equipment on the shop floor.

In addition to its fabrication facility, Eskimo has an active field division that provides a range of services including supply and erect, or erect only of owner supplied structural steel. Our field division has worked on most of the major industrial sites in Alberta and the NWT.

Safety is a priority for Eskimo each and every day and is the direct responsibility
of management, supervision, and employees alike. Eskimo holds Certificates of Recognition for its fabrication facility from Manufacturers Health and Safety Association and for its field division from Alberta Construction Safety Association.
