History:
Founded in Winnipeg by Stefan E. Johnson, our firm has been engaged in the mechanical contracting business since 1934 and has completed a wide variety of commercial, institutional and industrial projects throughout Western Canada. Our head office was relocated to Calgary in 1967 and branch offices have been maintained at various times in Edmonton, Lethbridge, Vancouver, and Victoria, with as many as 200 employees.
Our contracts have ranged in size up to $40 million, and have included hospitals, schools, recreation, research and civic facilities, office buildings, retail centres, industrial and manufacturing plants.
Throughout the years, we have endeavored to encourage apprentices to seek and continue careers as plumbers and steamfitters, and we are proud to be able to support the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Scholarships fund to assist in this regard.
