Dual Apprenticeship
An apprentice may be registered in two apprenticeship education programs at the same time, as long as all entrance requirements of each apprenticeship program are met.
In cases where an apprentice is registered in two apprenticeship education programs, each program must be administered separately according to the following:
- There may be one sponsor for both apprenticeship education programs or a separate sponsor for each.
- The apprentice must have separate apprenticeship education agreements for each apprenticeship education program.
- On-the-job instruction must be acquired and recorded separately for the two apprenticeship education programs.
At the discretion of the Registrar, a person may be registered in more than two apprenticeship education programs at the same time.
