Inspection and Suspension
An officer may conduct an inspection regarding any compliance order in accordance with sections 30 and 31 of the Act.
If deemed necessary by an inspection:
- The Administrator may suspend a journeyperson’s certificate and/or endorsement until the administrative review is completed and any consequences determined (in accordance with s. 17, DTRA Regulation), and
- The Registrar may suspend an apprentice’s registration until the administrative review is completed and any consequences determined (in accordance with s. 6, AEITP Regulation).
During the suspension, the individual may only perform restricted activities in the designated trade or branch of the designated trade to which the suspension pertains while under the supervision of an individual who holds a trade certificate in that designated trade or branch of the designated trade.
