History:
The Insulators' Training Trust Fund of Alberta was established in June, 1995 as an agreement between Local
Union 110 of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers and Construction
Labour Relations - An Alberta Association, to assist in the development of skills required in the insulation industry.
The Fund provides tuition to Local 110 members for their skills training at NAIT or SAIT and reimbursement for additional trade-related training courses such as Elevated Work Platforms, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry
& Monitor, Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, Better SuperVision, Leadership in Safety Excellence and Asbestos
Removal & Abatement training and recertification.

The Training Centre also is available for members who wish to upgrade their skills in pattern layout and development, blueprint reading, trade math refreshers, & basic computer literacy.

Our goal is to keep our members knowledgeable in the latest innovations in the insulation industry and to keep them safe on the job.
