History:
We pride ourselves on being a people company that happens to be good at construction. Proven experience in construction management, design/build, stipulated price, architectural cladding and sustainable construction has defined Clark Builders as a solid provider of choice for construction services in Western Canada and the North. With a core purpose defined as 'Building Exceptional Experiences' for our clients, customers and co-workers, we are grounded in our core values of:
Having a CAN-DO ATTITUDE
RESPECTING Others
Leading with COURAGE
Succeeding as a TEAM
Delivering RESULTS

PEOPLE

Our success is the result of the combined efforts of a diverse and dynamic team. Both in the field and in our offices, Team Clark's experience spans a broad range of histories. United by common goals and spirit, we offer clients knowledgeable service with full attention to detail.

FOUNDATION

Headquartered in Edmonton with offices in Calgary and Yellowknife, NT, Clark Builders serves clients throughout the western provinces and northern Canada. Started in 1974 as a one-man operation in Yellowknife, our business lessons learned in cold climate construction continue to set us apart. Today, a staff of more than 800 people work hard each day to create phenomenal commercial, industrial, institutional, recreational and multi-family residential projects.

COMMUNITY

Over the years Clark Builders and its employees have contributed tens of thousands of dollars and countless hours in support of community organizations. In keeping with the community spirit that exists throughout Clark Builders and to honour the legacy of our Founders, Andy Clark and Bill Giebelhaus, the Clark Builders Community Foundation was established in 2016. Supported by corporate contributions, the generosity of employees and private individuals, the Clark Builders Community Foundation will extend the reach of our corporate social contributions. This means that we will continue to raise funds for non-profit organizations that meet criteria in the areas of community development and leaders of tomorrow.

VARIETY. CHALLENGE. OPPORTUNITY.

Good pay and recognition for an honest day's work are appreciated, but what our staff enjoy most about Clark Builders is the work environment. Experienced crews fueled by mentorship and a strong commitment to safe work practices accomplish great things each day. An employee-owned company, Clark Builders provides opportunities for staff to experience their full potential through paid training and development including one-on-one apprenticeship support. "Our experience has taught us not only how to build great buildings, but how to build great teams and support them to create win/win situations through mutual respect, understanding, and commitment. As a result, we continue to develop a culture filled with passion and purpose for our people." - Paul Verhesen, PEng, President & CEO
