History:
Ray-Nor Painting & Decorating was founded in 1978, now employs approximately twenty five painters. Office support is now a total of 3, with knowledgeable, long-time staff in all positions.

Ray-Nor Painting primarily works in Calgary's downtown high rises with several regular building contractor customers. Other work includes government contracts and retail spaces within Calgary. Ray-Nor is well known and valued for its professional quality work and on-time project completion.

An emphasis on training has always been Ray-Nor Painting's mandate and management knows this is the key to the company's quality finished product. The company has worked with Journeymen and Apprentice Painters since the company's inception. Also very important is Ray-Nor Painting's safety record, which proves that the company places great importance on their workers' well-being and careful work practices in general.

The company derives great satisfaction from providing this scholarship, knowing that the painting trade will continue to improve its reputation in the construction industry.
